Karabakh's opponent in the 2nd qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League, CSKA, has been sanctioned by UEFA. According to Sport24.az, the Bulgarian team was punished for incidents that occurred during their away match against Derry City in the 1st qualifying round.
It turns out that CSKA fans threw various objects onto the field, caused a riot, and damaged the stadium. Additionally, it was found that the fans engaged in racist behavior.
As a result, UEFA fined the Bulgarian club 50,000 euros. At the same time, CSKA was banned from bringing fans to their next away game in the European cups.
This penalty will affect the upcoming match against Karabakh. Therefore, CSKA fans will not be able to watch the match from the stands on July 23 in Baku.
Note that the Karabakh - CSKA match will take place on July 23 at the Republican Stadium.
