USA Hockey Team Advances to World Championship Quarterfinals

The group stage match of the Ice Hockey World Championship between the USA and Austria has ended in Zurich, Switzerland.

Idman.Biz reports that the USA won the match held at the "SwissLife Arena" with a score of 4:1.

Connor Clifton, Ryan Ufko, Paul Cotter, and Matthew Tkachuk scored for the USA team. Simeon Schwinger scored the only goal for the Austrian team.

The USA team finished fourth in Group A and will play against the winner of Group B in the quarterfinals.
