Vladimir Petkoviç has left his post as head coach of the Algeria national team. According to Sport24.az, the local federation's press service has announced this.
The contract with the 62-year-old Swiss specialist and his assistants has been terminated by mutual agreement.
Note that under Petkoviç's leadership, the Algeria team reached the 1/8 finals in the DÇ-2026, but lost to Switzerland with a score of 0:2 and stopped the competition.
