The "Windsor Royal Horse Show - 2025", traditionally held in the United Kingdom, has started today.
İdman.biz reports that our country is represented for the first time at the traditional "Windsor Royal Horse Show" held in Great Britain by a delegation of 130 people with the support of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the organization of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, one of the most magnificent performances of this year, the "Azerbaijan – Land of Fire" show-composition featured Karabakh horses distinguished by their frenzy and beauty, graceful Azerbaijani dances, enchanting national music, and performances by the orchestra new for 2025.
The dance ensemble and cavalry unit of the State Border Service, with 20 Karabakh horses, once again represented our country at a high level, gaining great sympathy from the audience.
The head of the show-composition is Honored Artist Govhar Hasanzade, the stage director and choreographer is Honored Artist Farid Ibrahimov, an employee of the State Border Service, the coach of the cavalry unit is chief instructor Imran Ahmadli, and the chief conductor of the Exemplary Military Orchestra is Honored Artist Samad Vakilov.
The British audience watched with great admiration the show-composition consisting of "Yalli" performed on our national musical instruments, maestro Niyazi's "Gaytagi", Emin Sabitoglu's "Ince bellim", the sounds of Muslim Magomayev's song "Azerbaijan", the fiery dances of the "Sarhadchi" dance ensemble, and the extraordinary performances of the State Border Service's cavalry unit on Karabakh horses.
During the 20-minute show, our horsemen attracted attention by waving the state flags of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Great Britain, and were enthusiastically received and applauded by the event participants.
At the official dinner organized in honor of the guests at Windsor Castle at the end of the day, Honored Artist Afag Abbasova and Saadat Ismayilova added a special touch to the evening with their exquisitely selected piano performances.
It should be noted that the performances of our delegation will continue until May 18, and the performance of the "Land of Fire" polo team will take place a day earlier (May 17).
