"Formula 1" drivers may be fined and disqualified from the 2025 season onwards for using inappropriate language, as well as criticizing the International Automobile Federation (FIA).
"Report", citing ESPN, reports that the new version of the International Sporting Code will consider these behaviors to include the use of language, gestures or signs that may be considered offensive, abusive, rude, humiliating, as well as physical impact and inciting any of the listed actions.
The addition to the Code states that in the event of "illegal behavior," the first offense for pilots within two years will result in a fine of 40,000 euros, the second offense will result in a fine of 80,000 euros and a 1-month conditional disqualification, and the third offense will result in a fine of 120,000 euros, a 1-month suspension, and cancellation of points in the championship.
It should be noted that the first stage of the new "Formula 1" season will be held in Australia in March.
