Former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor has announced that he has undergone successful surgery on his right knee.
sports news says Conor is confident of making a full recovery.
"The surgery was excellent. I'm confident", - the 38-year-old Irishman wrote on social media.
McGregor suffered a knee injury during his first fight in five years against Max Holloway at UFC 329 in July. The Irishman attempted to strike first in the fight, but fell to the ground in an unfortunate manner. He fell two more times, then clutched his knee and the referee stopped the fight at 69 seconds. Holloway won by technical knockout.
