The Azerbaijan national badminton team played its next match at the III CIS Games.
Idman.biz reports that the team faced Russia in the semi-finals of the mixed team competitions. The match ended with a 3:0 victory for the opponent.
Russia will face Uzbekistan in the final, who defeated Belarus 3:0. The decisive match will take place on October 2.
Note that the badminton competitions will end on October 5.

The team competitions in badminton at the III CIS Games have started at the Gabala Olympic Sports Complex.
Idman.biz reports that, according to the results of the first day, our main team consisting of Ulvi Huseynov, Leyla Jamalzade, Ali Gozalov, Amirkhan Imanov, Nazrin Mehralizade and Yagmur Guliyeva took second place in group "A" and qualified for the semi-finals.
Our main team, which finished the group in second place, will face the leader of group "B" in the semi-finals. The game will start at 16:00.
