"Yango Azerbaijan" and the Azerbaijan Judo Federation have concluded the "Yield, Win" social project aimed at developing a culture of ethical behavior on the road.
The final stage of the "Yield, Win" initiative was a special training session conducted by Olympic champion and world judo champion Hidayat Heydarov. "Yango" users had a unique opportunity to personally meet the project's ambassador, ask him questions, and train shoulder to shoulder under his guidance. The meeting ended with a warm autograph session. Hidayat Heydarov chatted with the guests and signed memorable autographs for the event participants.
During the meeting, Hidayat Heydarov spoke to the participants about the importance on the road of judo's core principles, such as self-control and respect, which help one remain calm in difficult situations. The winners of the project shared their experiences and asked questions to the athlete.
During the campaign, participants actively shared examples of proper behavior on the road, studied the project's digital materials, and supported the idea of creating a safer road environment. The service's best driver-partners received special stickers confirming their commitment to a respectful driving culture.
"The values of judo are not limited to the tatami. Our joint project is dedicated to discipline and self-control - qualities that directly increase safety on the roads. Everything starts with respect for oneself, the rules, and other road users. Thanks to our joint initiative with professional athletes, our goal is to reduce the level of road conflicts, help drivers behave with restraint and confidence, and passengers feel more comfortable. We are translating judo principles into clear and applicable road behaviors. This is not just a campaign for us, but a contribution to the culture of urban mobility and quality of life in Baku and the country as a whole," said Mushvig Hasanov, head of "Yango Azerbaijan".
It should be noted that in 2025, a strategic partnership agreement was signed between "Yango Azerbaijan" and the Azerbaijan Judo Federation. The main directions of cooperation are increasing interest in sports, as well as increasing mobility and convenience in the urban environment.
