The World Judo Championships continue in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.

Vugar Talibov wrestled with Luka Maisuradze (Georgia) in the 1/32 finals and lost.
Eljan Hajiyev, who was exempt from the first stage, defeated Nurbek Murtuzoyev (Uzbekistan) in the 1/16 finals. He defeated Peng-Yu Chen (Chinese Taipei) in his second match. Hajiyev faced Adam Kopesky (Czech Republic) in the 1/4 finals and won this duel as well. Eljan will clarify his relationship with Japanese Goki Tajima in the semifinals.
It should be noted that Zelim Tckayev (81 kg) has already won a bronze medal in the world championship.
