New coaches have been appointed to the national judo teams of Azerbaijan.
Idman.Biz reports that the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF) has released information about this.
It was reported that ACF decided to strengthen the coaching staff in order to support the professional development of talented athletes, improve technical and tactical training, and increase technical accuracy in the performance of physical movements.
According to the decision, Orkhan Safarov was appointed coach of the national team of junior boys, and Tarlan Karimov was appointed coach of the national team of junior girls.
After completing their active sports careers, both specialists, with the support of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation, improved their professional knowledge and skills and successfully completed the International Judo Federation Academy (IJF Academy).
Orkhan Safarov also gained practical experience in modern training methodologies by participating in a one-month coaching training program at Tokai University in Japan. He is currently studying at the BCF Academy in the 2nd level coaching course. In parallel, he works as an education expert at ACF, contributing to the professional development of local coaches and athletes. He participates in the teaching process at the Azerbaijan Sports Academy, conducting theoretical and practical classes.
Tarlan Karimov is actively working to promote sports in the country, involve young people and children in a healthy lifestyle, and integrate them into sports. He actively participates in the educational activities of the Azerbaijan Judo Federation related to the professional development of the country's coaches. It should be noted that both coaches will work with young judokas selected for the "Hopes of the Future" training program, distinguishing themselves in the "Talent Selection" tournaments, and will systematically work to improve their technical-tactical skills and physical fitness level.
