On March 19, the Azerbaijan Judo Federation organized an official belt degree exam at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.
Idman.Biz reports that 315 judokas demonstrated their knowledge and skills in white-yellow, yellow, orange, green, blue, and brown belt degrees, based on their age eligibility.
Athletes who successfully completed the exam were awarded appropriate belts and certificates.
Belt exams help judokas master techniques more systematically and comprehensively, while also increasing their motivation. Belt degree is an important indicator in terms of evaluating and officially recognizing an athlete's level of preparation, and is also one of the necessary conditions for participating in prestigious domestic competitions in the future.
