The opening ceremony of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup international tournament was held in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that the event, which took place at the National Gymnastics Arena, started with the bringing of the flags of the participating countries into the arena.
Then, the Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation, Fatima Shafizade, greeted the guests with an opening speech and wished the participants success. She noted that our country is hosting this competition for the ninth time.
Then, the event continued with an artistic part, following the sounding of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that gymnasts from 39 countries are competing in the competition.
