Universiade: Our gymnasts won gold medal, Zeynalova and Seyidzade finished their performances

The Azerbaijani team won its first medal at the Universiade held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany.

Idman.biz reports that the team in group exercises in gymnastics took the highest place on the honorary podium.

Our team, consisting of Laman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Yelizaveta Luzan, Gullu Agalarzade and Kamilla Aliyeva, won gold in the performance with 3 balls and 2 hoops. Our gymnasts scored 26.350 points in the final stage. Ukraine won silver with 24,400 points, and Taiwan won bronze with 22,750 points.

It should be noted that the Rhythmic Gymnastics competition will end tomorrow.

The Rhythmic Gymnastics competition continues at the Universiade held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany.

Idman.biz's employee sent to Germany reports that Azerbaijani gymnasts Ilona Zeynalova and Kamilla Seyidzade have finished their performances at the Universiade.

Our representatives performed with clubs and ribbon today. As a result, in the sum of four exercises, Zeynalova took the 22nd place with 96.800 points, and Seyidzade took the 27th place with 95.750 points.

In this type, the gold medal was won by Belarusian gymnast Alina Gornasko (114.850). Uzbek Takhmina Ikromova won silver, and Hungarian Fanni Pigniczki won bronze.

The Rhythmic Gymnastics competition continues at the Universiade held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany.

Idman.biz's employee sent to Germany reports that Azerbaijani gymnast Ilona Zeynalova also competed in the daytime performances.

She demonstrated compositions with clubs and ribbon. Zeynalova is currently ninth in the clubs and tenth in the ribbon. These results did not allow her to reach the final in these types.

In the all-around, she is in seventh place.

Kamilla Seyidzade will then perform with clubs and ribbon. In the evening, the groups will determine the strongest teams in the all-around.
