The third Baku International "Gymnastics for All" Festival was held in the Seaside National Park.
The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation told "Report" about this.
The two-day event was remembered for the colorful performances of local and foreign participants.
Teams from Georgia, Mongolia and Uganda also participated in the festival, along with Azerbaijan. A total of about 900 participants and 52 teams were represented in the competition. Azerbaijan was represented not only by the capital's teams, but also by participants from different regions of the country.
Zumba, hip-hop, national dances and "master classes" in the program covering different age groups were met with special interest.
Participants demonstrated their skills in two age categories - programs under 50 and over 50 years old. The official opening of the festival started with a magnificent march of participants from the Baku Sports Palace to the main stage behind the Azerbaijan State Puppet Theater. This march, accompanied by an orchestra, as well as the stage performances of the teams, gave the audience a real festive mood. Performances by teams from different regions once again demonstrated the geographical diversity and wide scale of the festival.
The famous singer Mardan Kazimov, who took the stage in the evening, further enhanced the entertaining spirit of the festival. The rhythmic and energetic songs performed by the artist were greeted with great enthusiasm by the audience.
The Gala show held on the second day of the festival was remembered with a high mood. Awarding the winners in the nominations "Best Costume", "Best Performance", "Oldest Participant", "Youngest Participant" and "Most Active Participant in Social Media" was one of the highlights of the event. In addition, diplomas were presented to participants who distinguished themselves in various categories.
