The Junior World Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics, which will be held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, will feature a fight for eight sets of medals.
Idman.biz reports that participants will compete for four sets of medals in the individual competition, three sets among groups, as well as in the team championship.
However, there will be no individual all-around competition at the Junior World Championships. Gymnasts will only compete in individual events, and only one athlete from each country can compete in each event.
Shams Agahuseynova, Ilaha Bahadirova, Fidan Gurbanli and Azada Atakishiyeva will compete in the individual competition.
The group exercise team includes Nazrin Abdullayeva, Roya Alikishiyeva, Ayan Nasirova, Shams Muvaffagi and Nazrin Salmanli.
It should be noted that 370 gymnasts from 72 countries will participate in the Junior World Championships, which will be held from June 18 to 22.
