"We were even able to win a medal in the girls' synchronized program. However, we only aimed to reach the final. But it so happened that they performed well and finished third. The most important thing is that our athletes did not disappoint us. Everyone worked very hard. Both girls and boys did their best," the head coach said.
The specialist said that they competed against strong opponents: "I would especially like to note that we competed with the strongest in the world. The competition was very strong. Olympic and world champions from Russia and Belarus participated. Therefore, it was especially nice to win in the individual competition included in the Olympic program. Maqsud Mahsudov defeated the Olympic champion and won a gold medal. This is very gratifying. Now we will try to continue on our way. The next goal is the Los Angeles 2028 Summer Olympic Games."
