The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has allowed Russian gymnasts to compete under their national flag and anthem at international tournaments.
Idman.Biz reports that the decision was made at the Executive Committee meeting of "World Gymnastics" held in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
The decision covers five disciplines of gymnastics. Russian athletes will be able to compete with national symbols in artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, trampoline gymnastics, acrobatic gymnastics and aerobic gymnastics.
