Results of Athletics Competition Among Employees of State Institutions

An athletics competition was held at the Baku Athletics Center among employees of state institutions within the framework of the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty". According to Sport24.az, 42 people (32 men, 10 women) representing 11 state institutions participated in the competition, which was jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation.

Among women, Zakiyya Karimli and Afsana Mehdiyeva (both from the Ministry of Emergency Situations), as well as Esmira Nasraddinova (SOCAR) were among the winners in the long jump. Among men, Evgeniy Kasilov (MES) took first place. Vusal Rasulzade ("AzerGold" CJSC) was second, and Rustam Rustamov (SOCAR) was third.

In the women's 60-meter race, Zakiyya Karimli took first place, Malakhanim Mammadova took second place, and Leyla Aliyeva (all three from the Ministry of Emergency Situations) took third place. Among men, Ilkin Alizade, Evgeniy Kasilov (both MES) and Akif Azizov ("AzerGold" CJSC) distinguished themselves.

In the women's 400-meter race, Malakhanim Mammadova was first, Leyla Aliyeva was second, and Pari Rahimova (all three MES) was third. In the men's 800-meter race, all the steps were won by employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations: Ali Hajiyev won gold, Jalal Suleymanov won silver, and Ilgar Mammadov won bronze.
