The European Gymnastics Championship kicks off today in Leipzig, Germany.
Idman.biz reports that 6 of our gymnasts will compete in the tournament.
Our team includes World Cup silver medalist Nikita Simonov, Ivan Tikhonov, Rasul Ahmadzada, Mansum Safarov, Murad Agarzayev and Deniz Aliyeva.
The women's qualifying round will take place on the first day.
It should be noted that athletes from 37 countries will participate in the European Championship. 165 gymnasts will compete in the men's competition and 136 in the women's competition.
