Nikita Simonov successfully performed at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships held in Leipzig, Germany, and advanced to the final. Sport24.az reports that the gymnast of the Azerbaijani national team performed in his main discipline, the rings.
He scored 14.033 points from the judges, taking seventh place in the qualifying stage and qualifying for the final.
The rings final will be held on May 30.
It should be noted that Simonov was the silver medalist of last year's continental championship.
