Chinese Olympic champions have taken a serious step towards victory in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that the Chinese group exercise team has risen to the lead in the all-around at the World Cup after the first event.
The performance with five ribbons made the Chinese team first in the qualifying round and secured a place in the final in this event.
Bulgaria, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Israel, Italy, Turkey, and Finland also qualified for the final in the five ribbons event.
Now the groups will perform with the second type of program - three balls and two hoops.
It should be noted that the winners in the all-around competition will also be determined today.
