Idman.biz reports that this was said by Laman Alimuradova, a member of the Azerbaijani group exercises team that won a gold medal at the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup held in Baku, in an interview with AZERTAC.
She stated that she was happy with the result: "It is a proud feeling to be first at the National Gymnastics Arena and to play the Azerbaijani Anthem. We had two new programs. I am proud of my teammates. We are happy to have pleased our people."
It should be noted that the team consisting of Laman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Yelizaveta Luzan, Kamilla Aliyeva and Sofia Mammadova rose to the highest step of the podium in the exercises with three balls and two hoops.
