Olympic champion in the team event, American figure skater Ilia Malinin has become the winner of the 2026 World Championship.
Idman.Biz reports that he scored a total of 329.40 points from the judges for his two programs, becoming a three-time world champion.
Japan's Yuma Kagiyama won the silver medal with 306.67 points. Another Japanese skater, Shun Sato, took third place with 288.54 points.
