Five-time European figure skating champion Surya Bonaly has lost her medals after a burglary at her home.
İdman.Biz reports that the incident occurred at her home in Las Vegas, USA.
"Unfortunately, all the medals I won while competing in various world and European championships are gone. A few days ago, unknown persons robbed my house and stole my valuables. A little reminder to Vegas residents and pawnshops: if you see foreign gold and silver medals for sale, please call the police," Bonaly wrote on social media.
In addition to her victories, Bonaly is also known for her difficult and dangerous backflip on the ice.
