Firdovsi Umudov, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Weightlifting Federation, visited the training center of the "Kurmuk" club operating in Gakh.
Idman.biz reports that the club's coaches Ilkin Afandiyev and Ruslan Babashov informed Firdovsi Umudov about the current conditions there.
It was reported that about 40 teenagers are engaged in weightlifting in the hall, which has been in operation since 2022.
Firdovsi Umudov noted that there is a great athletic potential in our regions and that it is important to make the most of these opportunities.
It should be noted that the AWF vice-president is also planning to visit other regions in the near future.
