Fencing center named after Ilgar Mammadov opens in Beijing

A fencing center named after Azerbaijani two-time Olympic champion Ilgar Mammadov has opened in the "Yuan Li" sports cluster in Beijing, the capital of China.

Idman.biz reports that the center will be called "Ilgar Mamedov Fencing Center."

Renal Ganeyev, bronze medalist of the 2004 Olympics in foil fencing, two-time medalist of the world championship, and European champion, will be the head coach of the center.
