Azerbaijani karate fighters will have another chance to qualify for the World Championship, which will be held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt.
Idman.biz reports that a qualifying tournament will be held in Paris on October 17-19 on the eve of the World Cup, where the last tickets to the main competition of the season will find their owners.
The Azerbaijani team hopes to win several tickets to the World Championship in the French capital.
Currently, only Irina Zaretska (68 kg) has secured participation in the World Championship as a world champion.
Compared to previous years, changes have been made in the selection for the World Championship. It is possible to qualify for the competition through rankings and continental championships. However, since this year's European Championship was held in Yerevan, the Azerbaijani team did not participate in that tournament.
It should be noted that the World Championship will be held on November 27-30.
