The Azerbaijani team took 13th place in the group exercises at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships among juniors, held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
İdman.biz reports that in the all-around, the team consisting of Nazrin Abdullayeva, Roya Alikishiyeva, Ayan Nasirova, Shams Muveffeqi, and Nazrin Salmanli performed with five hoops and five pairs of clubs.
In the sum of two types, they scored 42.300 points and took 13th place, ahead of rivals from 22 countries. Our gymnasts were unable to reach the finals in individual events.
The final day of the World Championship will be held today. Two of our gymnasts will participate in the final: Fidan Gurbanli will compete with clubs, and Azade Atakishiyeva will compete with hoops.
