Azerbaijani gymnasts start competing at the Junior World Championships

The Junior World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships starts today in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

Idman.biz reports that the qualifying stage for hoop and ball exercises will be held on the first day of the competition.

Azerbaijani gymnasts will also start the competition: Azade Atakishiyeva will demonstrate a composition with a hoop, and Ilaha Bahadirova will tame the ball.

At the Junior World Championships, the individual competition will only be for medals in various disciplines. All-around competitions are not planned.
