The World Championship among juniors in rhythmic gymnastics has started today in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that the qualifying stage in hoop and ball exercises is being held on the first day of the competition.
Azerbaijani gymnasts have also started the competition.
Azade Atakishiyeva scored 24,000 points by performing hoop exercises. This allowed her to rise to fourth place, but there are performances by gymnasts from other groups ahead.
Ilaha Bahadirova will perform with the ball.
