Azerbaijani acrobats have started successfully at the World Cup held in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that our team consisting of Nazrin Zeyniyeva, Anahita Bashirli, and Zohra Rashidova took first place in the qualifying stage of balance exercises in the women's group competition.
Our gymnasts scored 28.650 points, surpassing the teams from Ukraine, China, and Germany.
In the men's doubles competition, Murad Rafiyev and Daniel Abbasov showed the second result in the qualifying round of tempo exercises. They scored 27.300 points, behind only the Kazakh duo Daniel Dil - Vadim Shulyar.
It should be noted that 63 athletes from seven countries are competing in the World Cup.

The World Cup in acrobatics has started in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that the opening ceremony began with a parade of participating teams.
The flags of the participating teams – Azerbaijan, China, Germany, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, India, and Uzbekistan – were displayed on the monitor of the National Gymnastics Arena.
Then the athletes' performances began.
The mixed pairs Razia Seyidli - Agasif Rahimov, Milana Aliyeva - Sabir Agayev, the men's duo Murad Rafiyev - Daniel Abbasov, the men's group consisting of Rasul Seyidli, Riad Safarov, Seymur Jafarov and Abdulla Al-Meshaihi, as well as the women's group consisting of Nazrin Zeyniyeva, Anahita Bashirli and Zohra Rashidova will represent Azerbaijan in this competition.
It should be noted that the World Cup in acrobatics will last until June 15.
