Azadeh Atakishiyeva qualifies for the hoop final at the World Championship

Azerbaijani gymnast Azadeh Atakishiyeva has qualified for the hoop final at the Rhythmic Gymnastics Junior World Championships in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

Idman.biz reports that she secured the right to compete in the final by finishing eighth in the qualification round.

The decisive competition will take place on June 22.

The individual qualification stage will continue today in Sofia. Participants will perform routines with clubs and ribbons. Fidan Gurbanli will perform a composition with clubs, while Shams Agahuseynova will demonstrate her skills with a ribbon.
