The national championship among athletes born in 2008/2009 has started with the organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Athletics Federation.
Idman.biz reports that 190 athletes are competing in the competition.
Along with representatives of the capital, athletes from Ganja, Mingachevir, Ismayilli, Ordubad, Sadarak, Khizi, Guba, Khachmaz, Astara, Gadabay and Barda are fighting for victory. In the national championship, the identity of the strongest in these age categories in various distances, long jump, triple jump, high jump, hammer throw, discus throw, javelin throw and shot put will be clarified. The competition, which is held at the stadium complex of the Azerbaijan Sports Academy and the AAF Throwing Base, will last for 2 days.
