The reason why the "Lankaran" futsal team did not participate in the match against "Araz-Nakhchivan" in the XIII round of the Top League was that the players could not make it to the game due to working in different jobs.

This was stated by the team's coach Rovshan Novruzlu in an interview with "Report".

"The reason why we didn't participate in the game is that the team members were at work and couldn't make it. During the winter break, we lost several of our key players due to financial difficulties. Instead, we were forced to take a few people. Those in the squad are people working in different fields. The start time of the games created a serious problem this round and the squad could not gather. This is the first such case recorded with us. We had informed the federation a day in advance that the squad was incomplete and that we would not be able to attend the game," the specialist emphasized.

He spoke about the financial crisis and game time difficulties faced by the team in its debut season:

"Despite being a debutant, we had a fairly successful start to the tournament, and the players were improving. In the first rounds, we fought hard against the championship favorites "Neftchi" IK and "Baku Fire" and received positive feedback. But later, financial problems began to arise. After the winter break, we decided to continue without finance. The main difficulty is the game times. After the break, we could not field a full squad for the game with "Neftchi" IK, and some of our key players were late for the meeting at that time. We requested that the matches be scheduled for later hours for our players who could not get permission from their jobs, which are their only source of income. Although this was taken into account in the match against "Baku Fire" last round, the scheduled time again created an obstacle in the game against "Araz-Nakhchivan". One of our key players is suspended. The others could not come to the game due to working hours."

It should be noted that the "Lankaran" team, which was supposed to face "Araz-Nakhchivan" in the XIII round of the Azerbaijan Top League, did not come to the game.
