Iran withdraws from world championship in US - Official

The Iranian national team will not participate in the World Cup to be held in the USA. Sport24.az reports that the country's Minister of Sports made a statement about this:

 

"Considering the cruel actions against Iran, we have no opportunity to participate in the tournament in this environment."

 

It should be noted that the Iranian national team was in the same group with Belgium, Egypt and New Zealand. It is not yet known who will replace this team in the World Championship.
