Elshan Guliyev, the head coach of the team of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, considered their performance in the mini-football tournament dedicated to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to be successful.
In an interview with "Report", he said that they could not overcome their excitement in the decisive match.
The team leader emphasized that the opponent was more experienced:
"The main thing was to participate in the final. The championship was successfully completed. I congratulate the team of the Ministry of Justice. We could not overcome our excitement. We had not lost once during the championship. The opponent had more experience. They were champions last year. This time, success was on their side as well. I hope that we will achieve better results in the next tournaments."
It should be noted that the winner of the tournament was the team of the Ministry of Justice. The team of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs took second place, and the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took third place.
