"We have 4 difficult games waiting for us in April. Taking this into account, we found it necessary to hold a short-term training camp." Sport24.az reports that these words were said by the head coach of the national futsal team, Yevgeni Kuksevich, in his statement to azfutzal.az.
The coach of the team, which held a training camp in Baku from March 23 to 26, emphasized the following regarding the preparation:
"There are aspects of the game plan that we need to work on. At the same time, we have several new futsal players in our squad. We want to check them out in order to determine the final squad for the April games. The children are in good spirits and are enthusiastically carrying out the tasks assigned to them. There is also some time between championship games. We are trying to make the most of it. We need to learn so that our work is easier in the games."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will play friendly matches with Georgia in Tbilisi on April 9 and 11, and with the Kazakhstan team in Aktau on April 13 and 15.
