"The Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation is considering creating a First League."
Idman.Biz reports that the Secretary General of the organization, Orkhan Huseynov, told AZERTAC about this.
He stated that the number of teams wishing to participate in the championship is high:
"Taking this into account, we want to organize the First League. Because if we let new teams into the main league, they will not be able to compete competitively."
The national minifootball championship in Azerbaijan has been held since 2018. 32 teams competed in that competition. Currently, 16 teams compete in the Azerbaijan minifootball championship.
