The quarter-final matches of the Azerbaijan Futsal Cup have concluded. Based on the results of the matches, the four strongest teams of the tournament have qualified for the semi-finals.
Idman.Biz reports that one of the most interesting matches of the stage took place between the current cup holder PFL and the U-19 team. Despite falling behind in the score, PFL showed character and won with a score of 4:3 with a late goal.
The leader of the High League, "Neftchi" İK, and one of the country's most established futsal clubs, "Araz-Nakhchivan," did not give their opponents any chance. Both teams won with the same score - 12:3, and celebrated a big victory. In another match, "Baku Fire-2" crushed "Lankaran" away and joined the ranks of the semi-finalists.
