The awarding ceremony of the mini-football tournament among state institutions dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held.
Idman.biz reports that special awards were first presented to the players who distinguished themselves in the tournament.
Later, the winner of the tournament, the team of the Ministry of Justice, was awarded with gold medals, the representative of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons with silver, and the players of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with bronze medals.
The winners were presented with awards by Elnur Mammadov, head of the sports department of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Sarkhan Hajiyev, executive vice-president of AFFA, and Orkhan Mammadov, president of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation.
In the decisive match held at the Baku Tennis Academy, the team of the Ministry of Justice defeated the team of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons with a score of 3:0. The team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs took third place.
It should be noted that a total of 39 teams participated in the tournament organized jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, AFFA and the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation.
