A collision involving more than 20 cars occurred at one of the biggest car races held in Talladega (Alabama, USA).
Idman.Biz reports that the accident was caused by contact between the cars of driver Ross Chastain and Bubba Wallace, who was leading at the time. This resulted in a chain reaction crash.
The accident caused a thick cloud of smoke to form over the track, after which organizers decided to suspend the race to clean the track and assess the technical condition of the damaged cars.
No serious injuries were reported among the race participants as a result of the incident.
