Aston Villa's new midfielder Yohan Manzambi will not participate in the 2026 UEFA Super Cup match against PSG on August 12.
Idman.Biz reports that Manzambi suffered a knee injury while playing for the Switzerland national team at the 2026 World Cup. The exact recovery time for the midfielder is currently unknown.
The 20-year-old midfielder has been playing for Freiburg since 2024. He has played 58 games in all competitions for the German club, scoring nine goals and making seven assists. Last season, Manzambi was named the Young Player of the Year in the Europa League.
