Tottenham and Netherlands national team player Xavi Simons is injured. According to Sport24.az, the midfielder was injured in the Premier League match against Wolverhampton (0:1) in the 34th round.
Simons' condition is serious. He will be out of action for several months and will miss the World Cup, which will be held in the summer.
The Netherlands national team will face Japan, Tunisia and Sweden in Group F at the World Cup.
The World Cup, which will be hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico, will start on June 11.
