The 2024/2025 season of the AFFA Higher Women's League has concluded. According to Sport24.az, in the final match of the season, "Neftchi" defeated "Sumgayit" with a score of 4:0.
Thus, "Neftchi" took first place in the championship, "Dirchelish" from Zagatala took second place, and "Sumgayit" took third place.
After the match, the award ceremony was held at the Neftchi Football Center. "Dirchelish" and "Sumgayit" were awarded silver and bronze medals, respectively, and "Neftchi" was awarded a gold medal and a cup.
Individual award winners were also determined. "Neftchi" footballer Joshguna Aliyeva became the most productive player of the season with 31 goals. Another member of the capital club, Ayshen Salamzade, was named the best player of the season, and Aytaj Feyzullayeva from "Dirchelish" was named the best goalkeeper.
The award ceremony was attended by Amina Hasanova, head of the AFFA Women's Football Department, Habib Agayev, head coach of the U-19 women's national team, Nargiz Gurbanova, head coach of the U-17 women's national team, and Cenk Sumer, CEO of "Neftchi".
