"We have informed the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan about the theft at the Shamkir Olympic Complex".

He stated that an investigation is being carried out by relevant agencies regarding the incident:
"Currently, measures are being taken to identify and find the persons who looted the complex. The problem with the stadium's lighting system has already been eliminated".

It is alleged that a theft occurred at the stadium of the Shamkir Olympic Complex.
Idman.Biz reports, citing sportinfo.az, that a large amount of electrical cables were stolen from the arena.
According to reports, the incident that happened at night made the lighting system of the venue where "Shamkir" holds its home games unusable. Because the cables of the projectors installed in the stadium were also removed from there.
It was noted that although the football players were in the cottages on the territory of the complex when the robbers were "working", no one saw their faces. Since the lights in the area went out shortly before the incident, the players did not leave their places.
