We will try to get a result in the home match and pass the stage

There weren't many scoring opportunities. Both sides were fighting. The windy weather interfered with the games. Therefore, we didn't watch beautiful football. We conceded a goal from a penalty. I don't remember any other scoring opportunities. We also couldn't get into scoring positions.

According to Sport24.az, these thoughts were expressed by "Zira" head coach Rashad Sadigov at the press conference after the first match of the 1/4 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup, which they lost to "Araz-Nakhchivan" with a score of 0:1.

The specialist then answered questions from journalists...

- How do you assess your chances in the return match?

- After the first match, the opponent is ahead. If we had won, the same scenario would have happened in the second match. "Araz-Nakhchivan" concedes very few goals. They are reliable in defense. Our job may be difficult. We will try to get a result in the home match and pass the stage. We are playing on a tight schedule. After the return game, we also have a championship game in Tovuz.

- There are offers for Salifu Summa. Is he expected to leave the team?

- There are offers for several of our players, not just Salifu. There are official ones, and unofficial ones, and those who are interested. I will not disclose which club it is. But there is also an official offer. We also spoke with Salifu, we extended his contract. We made a decision that benefits him and us. Our club is always open to offers. What is important is that the player who leaves us moves forward, develops. Offers are part of football. Summa is with us, if there is another serious offer, we will consider it, and we will make the right decision for both us and him. But as of today, we have extended the contract with Summa.
