PSG midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery has become the youngest player to reach 40 Champions League appearances at the age of 20 years and 31 days.

With this indicator, the PSG midfielder surpassed former Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas, who played 40 Champions League matches at the age of 21 years and 275 days. Zaïre-Emery also surpassed current Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham, who was 21 years and 164 days old.
Zaïre-Emery has played 13 matches in the current tournament and has one assist.
