His last coaching job was at Premier League representative "Crystal Palace", which ended in February 2024.
In an interview with Sky Sports last year, he said: "I don't want to end my career like Frank Sinatra"
78-year-old Hodgson will return to the sidelines to lead "Bristol City" in the last seven games of the Championship season. "Bristol City" has changed 24 head coaches since parting ways with Hodgson in 1982. The club is currently in 16th place.
