"We expect a successful performance from "Neftchi" in the continental tournament this time as well, as they pleased us a few years ago by rising to the group stage of the Europa League." These words were said by Vagif Sadigov, the chairman of the Coaches Committee, in his statement to Sport24.az.
He assessed the chances of our clubs that will represent our country in European Cups this season:
"I also expect a successful result in the Champions League from "Sabah", which is making a confident impression this season. I would very much like "Turan Tovuz" to achieve historical success on their home ground. I think that "Qarabag" can achieve even greater success in the Europa League than in the Champions League. Our faith is great. This is the result of how intense and competitive our championship is. Where there is competition, the level of clubs also rises. Looking at the latest performances of our teams, expectations are increasing even more. All four teams have head coaches with European experience. However, football is changing year by year, and it is becoming more difficult to achieve success with experience alone. Coaches and football players who keep up with the developing football world are becoming the main advantage of the club. Nevertheless, we believe that the experience of the head coaches of our teams will benefit us."
It should be noted that the draw for the European Cups in the current season will be held on June 16.
