UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin is set to discuss the possibility of boycotting the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup with European Club Association president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.
According to Idman.Biz, citing talkSPORT, the two are scheduled to meet in person during the UEFA Super Cup match on August 12.
According to sources, Ceferin is hoping to convince Al-Khelaifi to support the withdrawal of European clubs from the tournament as long as Gianni Infantino remains FIFA president.
In addition, the UEFA president is continuing his campaign to demand Infantino's resignation, with Ceferin calling on national football associations to withdraw their letters of support for the FIFA president.
